The Hess Rules are here for making us all safe. Rules for Safety System Bypass are very important because we need to have people doing maintenance. Work Authorization is important to have before we could actually bypass our safety system. We use the Permit to Work System so we can go through the whole job and make sure the job will be done in a safe way. Everybody on site of course looks after each other because we want to make sure everyone, everywhere, goes home safe every day.
