Here at the shore base, we do thousands of lifts a year. One of the reasons we have this Lifting and Hoisting Rule is we lift tons of weight and we have controls in place to keep people out of harm's way. Before we make a lift, we discuss the lift, we discuss the hazards, we control the hazards. So after the JSA, we inspect the lift again. We hook up to the lift. We make the lift. If everything looks good, the flagman tells the crane operator, "Set it on the boat." We spend half of our lives here at the shore base. It is our family here, that's why we do what we do, to make sure everybody goes home safe, everywhere, every day.
